Karen is a Technical Marketing Engineer - "Solutioneer" for Brocade, based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Her role as a corporate speaker and Solutioneer has brought her to venues all over the world.
During her 35 years in the IT industry, she has specialized in software development, support and training of operating systems and databases. Since 1992, she has been an international speaker for topics such as backup applications, high availability, disaster tolerance, Storage Area Network and storage management solutions.
Rob Strechay - Akorri, Senior Director, Sales Engineering
Mr. Strechay has spent most of his professional career as a director level IT professional with responsibility for all aspects of corporate storage services, disaster recovery planning, networks and operations. For Akorri, Mr. Strechay leads strategic and sales initiatives. Before joining Akorri, Strechay served as director of storage and disaster recovery for a global 200 financial services company, where he was responsible for their strategic and tactical roadmap for their storage infrastructure and disaster recovery planning initiatives. Mr. Strechay has also held high-tech consulting positions servicing the Fortune 500 organizations in the areas of storage services, disaster recovery planning, networks and infrastructure operations. He writes and is quoted regularly by press and is a member of multiple stantards organizations.
John Hayes - Avnet Technology Solutions, Information Technology Consultant
John specializes in financial justification and helping companies to take advantage of the dynamicsof the technology marketplace. Mr. Hayes presently leads Avnet's IT Consolidation practice.
