North Memorial Engagement Overview
To support the Corporate Vision, the North Memorial Health Care Board approved a multi-year IT Strategic Plan. The plan included an enterprise Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Picture Archival and Communication System (PACS).
This required the IT Division to prepare and execute infrastructure projects of unprecedented scope. Project and operational management excellence was critically important for this project.
To meet growing business needs, NMHC required alignment of network technology solutions.
Midwave partnered with NMHC leadership and staff, as well as existing vendor partners, to determine appropriate paths. Midwave consultants then translated functional requirements into technical requirements and deployed the new design.
Risk tolerance dictated the IT services be deployed across redundant data centers.
Midwave partnered with NMHC IT & Design Construction to manage the second facility build-out. The team designed and integrated highly available servers and storage in support of patient care applications EPIC and PACs.
Emergency Services required IT services as staff moved with patients throughout the department.
Midwave consultants designed and integrated a wireless environment for portable voice and data services that NMHC will expand across their organization.
