Microsoft Consultant – Active Directory, Exchange, SCCM
This position is a part of our Data Center Services - Microsoft practice. We are a Microsoft Gold Certified partner with multiple competencies. Our focus is on the infrastructure, but we have a broad practice that includes; Active Directory, Identity Management, Exchange, Virtualization, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Desktop deployment and management. Our practice is part of a larger organization that is proud to focus on our consulting services in addition to our product relationships. One of our key differentiators from other consulting organizations is our ability to help organizations with Microsoft, Storage, Networking, Databases, Identity Management, and business consulting. Our consultants work with some of the key organizations within the Twin Cities to help them realize their goals. You will be challenged to create dynamic solutions by working in engagements during the sales cycle, and leading and building solutions. Successful applicants will have: * 10+ years of progressive IT experience with Microsoft technologies * Four-year degree in business or computer-related field or equivalent experience * Previous consulting experience preferred * Current Microsoft Certifications required * Broad background in general networking and security * General scripting knowledge and experience * Proven experience working in project teams with technical leadership responsibilities * Ability to create architectural and detailed designs for Microsoft technologies and apply them to diverse business requirements * Excellent written and verbal communication skills including demonstrated experience presenting technical details to non-technical audiences Additional experience preferred in at least one of the following: * Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows including Server 2008 * Advanced experience with Microsoft Active Directory * Advanced experience with Microsoft SCCM * Experience with multiple versions of Exchange, including high availability * Experience with multiple versions SQL Server, including high availability * Experience with Systems Center Configuration Manager 2007 Desired to required soft skills: * Solution development * Authoring project documentation * High energy * Problem Solver * Strong communication skills
