Storage Consultant
 

This position is a part of our Data Center Services – Storage practice.  This position will complete installation, configuration, and integration services for NetApp and EMC storage at client locations.  The position focuses on high-end Storage Area Network and Network Attached Storage concepts and the integration of those concepts and technologies into business environments with application integration, high availability, and disaster recovery.   Our practice is part of a larger organization that is proud to focus on our consulting services, and not just our product relationships.

 

One of our key differentiators from other consulting organizations is our ability to help organizations with Storage, Microsoft, UNIX, Linux, Networking, Virtualization, Security, Databases, Identity Management, and business consulting. Our consultants work with some of the key organizations within the Twin Cities to help them realize their goals. You will be challenged to create dynamic solutions by working in engagements during the sales cycle, and leading and building solutions.

 

Successful applicant will have:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience with SAN and NAS solutions from NetApp or EMC
  • Four-year degree in business or computer-related field or equivalent experience
  • Previous consulting experience preferred
  • Current Vendor Certifications preferred

 

  • Advanced experience with SAN implementation
  • Advanced experience with NAS solutions
  • Experience with Fiber Channel and iSCSI networking
  • Experience with Cisco MDS and Brocade fiber channel solutions
  • Experience with Virtual Tape Libraries
  • Experience with integration Microsoft and UNIX/Linux environments with SAN's
  • Experience with highly availability and disaster recovery solutions that based on SAN technologies

 

  • Broad background in general networking and security
  • Proven experience working in project teams with technical leadership responsibilities
  • Ability to create architectural and detailed designs for storage solutions and apply them to diverse business requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including demonstrated experience presenting technical details to non-technical audiences
